Training with Disciplines

One of the essential ways we mortify our members is by training with the Spiritual Disciplines. These classical exercises of the spirit are ways that athletes of Christ have actually taken up their cross. They're the way we train, the way we invite the right amount of pain into our lives. As we weave them into the routine of our days and the rhythm of our bodies, they strengthen our spiritual reflexes, reinforce holy habits, and mature in us the attitude of Christ. All of which will be required to advance along the Way.
