Habits are Neutral

Habits are neutral. They’re not concerned with questions of goodness or badness, right or wrong, wise or foolish. They can be generative or destructive. They can feed our soul or they can starve it, strengthen or spoil it. And so the old writers tell us that when a habit is good, it’s virtuous; when it’s bad, it’s vicious or a vice.
