Three small lights to begin your week with clarity

A Reflection from Me

A short piece from my own journey with God — something I’m noticing, learning, or wrestling with.

A Voice from the Christian Tradition

A quote from a trusted guide who has walked this path before us.

A Question to Carry

A simple question that helps you pay attention to God in the days ahead.

Why three lights?

I call them “lights” because they’re meant to offer a bit of clarity at the beginning of the week — nothing heavy or long, just a small pause that helps you stay awake to God in the middle of ordinary life.

All three pieces center on one theme each week, giving you a single thread to follow.

The aim is simple: to help you participate more deeply in your own transformation.

A Voice from the Christian Tradition

“You greatly need certain free hours to be given to prayer and recollection. Try to steal some such hours, and be sure that such little parings of time will be your best treasures. Above all, try to save your mornings; defend them like a besieged city!”

François Fénelon, The Complete Fenelon

A Question to Carry

Do you have a daily or weekly practice that gives you unhurried time?

“The first time I came across Jon’s writings, it was like opening a window for the first time after a long winter. The fresh, spring-like breeze of his vision for life with God awoke my soul.”

No Accidental Saints

“Jonathan writes from inside a life seeking to live the way of Jesus. When we hear his struggles, insights, and guidance, we can find help for our own path as apprentices.”
